I'm so afraid to do ab workouts with the iud in. I just got it 2 weeks ago but am hesitant to do abs again and have gained fat in that area very fast. I think I will start next week with abs again. But does anybody have anything to compare or relate to . Or tips or anything that will make me feel better about doing it . Ppl I need reassurance !!!!! Please . Also add me as a friend :)

Remember, the Mirina IUD is small and flexible. According to the European Active Surveillance Study for Intrauterine Devices (EURAS-IUD) the overall rate of uterine perforation is around 1/1000, and the majority of cases are women who have one or more risk factors (prostaglandin use, breastfeeding, and prior general anesthesia).

I had a Mirena for 5 years with zero issues.
If Mirena can survive sex, it can survive anything.
    Go ahead and workout!
