By lunchtime today I've already eaten my goal of 1200 calories. I had crumpets for breakfast, a burger I made at home for lunch and I stupidly started Pringles and couldn't stop eating them. I've done so well but I'm so hungry today. It's only 3pm here now and I'm supposed to go for dinner later. What the hell can I do now?? I feel like a loser. The biggest problem? I'm still hungry!!!

Get up and walk...move your body. Don't feel like a loser. That doesn't help, and doesn't burn any calories at all. If it's 3pm there now, and you still have dinner to worry about, I suggest going for a walk or jog, to make room for the next meal. Don't NOT eat, whatever you do!

Yes, exercise. When I start a planned meal or planned snack, I feel hormonal urges to keep eating. I just had to learn to recognize those urges and learn patience. Exercise helps accelerate the patience for me.

How many pounds a week did you select to lose weekly? 1200 seems quite low...

What are your stats (height, age, current weight, goal weight)?

Calm down and eat to maintenance. No need to starve or do excessive amounts of exercise.

I'm wanting to lose two pounds a week. I'm 29, 5'6, currently 11 stone exactly. Goal weight 10 stone 3. I've lost a stone and 8 pound so far. I was 10 stone 13 last week but somehow fluctuated to 11 again. I've hurt my neck so haven't been able to proper exercise this week

I agree, just don't make it a bad week! Hang in there. I've been there, frustrating.

If it's in the house, you or someone you love will eat it eventually.

This goes for nutrient dense food too btw.

Bold is the problem, not surprising you're are hungry!
Change your goal to a less aggressive one.

Change your goal to half a pound a week. It'll be more sustainable.

I did it again. I binged today. I think it's somehow because I've been restricting myself for so long... I felt like I "needed" brownies and ice cream which I've denied myself for so long.
I've had a long time of eating 1-200 calories. Some days only 900. I've lost weight and finally on track where I want to go and I ruin it.
I feel so disgusted with myself but I was ridiculously hungry today and yesterday. Do I have a problem?

What are your stats? It sounds like your goal is too low for you.

Also, don't hate yourself because you ate brownies and ice cream. Instead, fit a little bit of one or the other into your day.

    My stats are 29, 5'6, 11 stone. I want to be 10 stone 3, I was previously 12 stone 8.

With eleven pounds a lose, definitely change your goal to half a pound a week. This will give you more calories and you shouldn't feel the need to go off track. Also, if you haven't been, you can eat at least a portion of your exercise calories back.

Pick yourself up and start again tomorrow, buuuuut.. going for a walk or some light exercise now will probably improve your mood.

Just remember, there will be set backs and we all have them (have to deal with them). Love yourself and continue on.

Also, if there are foods (like Pringles) that you have problems exerting control over, maybe avoid those foods or dole out portions of them (it helps me, but I know it's not for everyone).

Don't despair and don't give up!

The problem you have is an unrealistic calorie goal, it's as simple as that.

Stop crash dieting, eat at a small to moderate deficit and that should stop the bingeing.

Eat dinner and enjoy it. Maybe skip dessert. You're good. If dinner is 800 calories, nothing is sabotaged. You have a lot of room to live it up when your cals are that low. One day of 2K will be good for you, your body, and should be good for you psychologically. That shouldn't be a bad day, it should be an extra good day! (And one where you've loaded up on glycogen for higher reps tomorrow!)

You're bingeing because you're eating too little. Your weight loss goal per week is too aggressive. That's why you're hungry and that's why you're going off the rails. With relatively little weight to lose, your goal per week should be 1/2 lb. What you're currently doing isn't sustainable, and that's what your body's trying to tell you.

recalibrate your daily caloric intake and your expectations... slow and steady wins the race...Also, change the type of food... burgers and pringles are high calories as you know... so you are hogging up your allotment on junk stuff...

How about you just forget about your calorie goal for today, eat proper dinner, and then go on with tomorrow like it never happened? One day won't stop anything, but I think that eating less as a result will be psychologically damaging (potentially)

Just think about it.... you could either recalibrate and eat your brownies and ice cream within your goal and be a happy camper...or you could stick to you your unrealistic goal, eat the chips/dessert/whatever anyway, but feel like crap about it. The choice seems obvious.

Like others have said, OP, eat more. You will get to your goal faster by aiming for .5 or .75 lb/week and being really consistent than by trying for a lower goal, overdoing, and then bingeing.

Also, and important, you will feel better about yourself and not so out of control.
