Hello everyone! I have a question to ask. Is it better to eat before you workout, or will you not burn as many calories if you do not. I wake up at 5:30 and start walking/jogging on my treadmill for an hour before I go to work. I do not eat before I work out. So my question is: Should I eat something before?

The energy it takes to jog has to come from somewhere; if you don't eat your body has to use it's fat reserves.0

Exercise will burn same amount of calories no matter what time of day.3

I run occasionally fasted but if I was doing an hour I'd have to eat first.
However, if it works for you then don't eat. The number of calories you burn won't be affected.0 -
Eat, fuel your body some it'll only help you have a better workout. Fasted cardio was a fad but studies have shown there is no real significant difference in fat burning by doing so0
