How long have you been dieting? Are you doing any cardio? Are you HONEST with your calories? As in counting everything and properly measuring it? No cheat food?
There is no way you should not be losing weight at your current bodyweight with those calories.1 -
Do you weigh your food with scales?1

Ah so I must be doing something wrong. I breast feed. I think I count everything but I go over my protein a good amount of the time...0 -

Are you trying to breastfeed on 1400 calories at your height and weight?
How old is your baby and how often do they feed?
Breastfeeding was an amazing lesson in the power of hormones for me. I lost weight like crazy, but I also found myself eating like crazy, often almost without realizing it. If you'er really trying to breastfeed on only 1400 calories, I wouldn't be surprised if your hormones are dragging you into the kitchen at night and feeding you up on milk and eggs. I wasn't trying to restrict, and my hormones did that.3 -
You should be taking in more when breastfeeding. I let MFP and IIFYM decide what my base should be (1590 @ 5'6" and 163lbs) and then add 300cal as "exercise" for breastfeeding every day. A lot of breastfeeding sites say it burns 300-500 calories a day, and I prefer to play it safe and stay on the lower end. My baby is 4 months old and I've lost 25lbs (13 post birth, most of the rest in the two months after). Now my weight goes down very slowly, a pound a month or so no matter how hard I try. From my research, some women hold on to some weight while breastfeeding, especially if it's the last 10lb (in my case I have 8lb to go til my goal weight.) I've added strength training 3x a week to tone. If I can't lose these last 8lb until she weans at least I can build muscle! Google no weight loss while breastfeeding, you're not alone!3
