MFP is The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!

I've always genuinely been active. From skateboarding in the city in Germany as a kid, to horseback riding (working on a farm) as a teen. And all my jobs have always been manual labor.
But I've never been a Health Person. Only thing I knew was; if you wanted to gain weight, eat more. If you wanted to lose, eat less.
But there's more to being healthy than JUST that. And after I gained weight, I did try the diet fads and many of the magic pills. Some didn't work, some did. But as soon as I stopped popping my magic pills, back to square one.
It took signing up to MFP MANY years to get started on the right track. And now, thanks to MFP, there's no need for the magic pills OR a diet. I literally can have my cake and eat it to while still balancing my macros the majority of the week.
Still have some weight to lose, but have never been fitter. Never thought I would be the kind of person to find my calling with free weights. I never thought a treadmill was relaxing. And giving me money to spend at The Vitamin Shoppe is like sending a kid in a candy store.
And I'm not through yet. Still have more pounds to lose, and more gains to gain.
