Is this app accurate at tracking your exercise and how does it work?

It's my understanding that the MFP database tends to over-estimate calories burned. As to "how does it work" you're gonna have to be more specific.0

I mean does it really count my steps and stuff cuz today I jumped the rope carrying my phone it said I only burned 4 calories haha.... am I misunderstanding something ???0

MFP doesn't count steps. Some other apps do that can link to MFP.1

Your phone can count your steps but you have to tell MFP that you want them logged as your exercise. If you do something like jumping rope you then also tell MFP that you were exercising and not just stepping.0
