Between drinking Coke Zero instead of Coke and using Splenda in my coffee . . . depending on the day it could really add up.0
-
At least 1,000 per day.0

At least 600....0

0. I eats all the sugarz0

zeroish.0

0-300. I try to limit myself because it is yet ANOTHER of my headache triggers. Too much splenda/equal/truvia insta-headache.
So I try to limit myself to less than 3 packets at most and not daily. That is about 100 cals of another sweetener I would have had.0 -
Eat. All. The. SUGAR!!!
I pick honey or real sugar over artificial sugar. Can't stand the taste of the zero calorie stuff.0 -
Wow! What do you guys put it in? I generally don't drink much calories. I don't like sugar in coffee or tea.
I have one 8oz of diet coke with my rum maybe once a week. That's about it.0 -
I dunno...I dont count calories...thats for ussies0

I probably would have to say... a lot. I drink about a half gallon of diet pepsi or more per day. I also drink mio...
I would guess at least 1000.0 -
Probably 200 a day or so, easy!0

zero-no artificial sweeteners for me and the only sugar I consume is naturally occurring in food (fruit, raw honey and any trace sugars in veggies/grains etc).0 -
About 50 cal per day (3 coffees, I used to use 1 teaspoon of sugar in each)0

Hold on wait? So if i look at a donut but don't eat it...DO i log it as negative? How does this change my TDEE? I'm so confused now.0

LOL! Some days I really wish it worked this way!
To answer the question, zero for me... I generally don't eat any added sweeteners, artificial or real. (And I haven't for quite a while, so sugar/honey/artificial sweeteners have no correlation with my being fat.)0 -

Really........ I didn't know it caused headaches..... I'm wondering now if cutting that out might help mine!! Even trivia does it to you?0 -
I only do 1/4 tsp of splenda in my coffee, and maybe one diet soda a day, so maybe 150-200 calories?0
-
I have a migraine reaction to aspartame (nutrasweet). I tend to use a small amount of splenda or nothing. I'd say my caloric intake for drinks would be less than 100 per day as I drink a ton of water and only occasionally drink milk.0
-
None! Like someone else mentioned artificial sweeteners give me headaches.0
-
I probably save around 500 calories NOT eating artificial sweeteners.0
-
0. I'm really glad I'm not the only one that gets headaches from this stuff, my husband thinks I'm nuts.0
-
Thousands.
Just in my morning coffee.0 -
Difficult to say. I have 3 splendas in each of two cups of coffee and 2 diet orange sodas per day. But I don't know if I'd have the equivalent amount of sugar because just seeing the astronomical number might make me pick something else instead.0
-
I always worry about people who injest either a lot of sugar or artificial sweetners.0

It may indeed work for calories. Seems a reasonable parallel to Alice's Law of Compensatory Cash Flow.
Calvin Trillin's _Alice Let's Eat_ (1979): My decision to take a rather elegant picnic along on a no-frills flight to Miami was solidly based on a theory of economics known as Alice’s Law of Compensatory Cashflow, which holds that any money not spent on a luxury one considered even briefly is the equivalent of windfall income and should be spent accordingly. If you decide, for instance, that buying a five-hundred-dollar color television set would be, all things considered, an act of lunacy and the final step toward complete financial collapse, you have an extra five hundred dollars that you “saved” on the television set available to spend on something else.0 -
Chicken doesn't have sugar0

That sounds a touch condescending.
If my carb macro is on target and I'm getting enough veggies I don't see any trouble with sugar. Most of what you read online about artificial sweeteners is fear mongering. As long as you're consuming it within reason, in the context of an overall healthy diet, there's no reason to worry about either, in my opinion.0 -

While you worry about me, I will be out there being awesome. But I appreciate the thought.0 -

artificial sweeteners are calorie free.
quit being so smug, you look foolish when you say inaccurate things.
Plus you could fall off that high horse and break your nose. Then how would you look down on everyone!?0
