I prefer myfitpal over Facebook. Love to compare diaries.

Hi
Just feel like there's a better atmosphere on myfitpal and prefer to be productive. Please add if you like sharing results and the life of fitness.

Unless you need it for business purposes, or for advertising, I always recommend that those who complain about FB deactivate their account for a week, and just see what happens.
How much people invest themselves emotionally into a website that's 90% garbage; it's insane. To "unfriend" someone is likened to a formal declaration of "I don't want to be your (real life) friend anymore."
My fiancee (now wife) and I deactivated in 2013, and have just never felt like re-activating. Life's a lot more peaceful without all the Facebook noise.
For the purposes of your goals (and surely you have a fitness/health goal or you wouldn't be here), don't be afraid to fully buy in into MFP. MFP will make you a better person; Facebook won't.0
