Hi everyone my names Ben I am from the uk just looking for friends and to share tips with. I used to be fit and healthy until 10 year when I stopped playing rugby now want to get rid of the extra pounds and stone I have put on haha

    Background on me:
    I'm 31, from the United States, and play in a recreational city hurling league (the Irish sport) to stay active. Competition is a great motivator.

    When I started the game 8 years ago I was 230 lb, was in OK physical shape but lacked in the game's fundamental skills.
    As I got comfortable with the game's skills, carelessness in other areas of my life pushed my weight up approaching 300 lb.

    I've been recovering my fitness and today sit at 253 lb.

    Hurling season is in full swing for the next 3 months. By the end of the season I hope to be near my original 230 lb, achieve the conditioning/fitness level of a prototype defensive player, and (God willing) contribute to a championship team.

    My ultimate goal is 210 lb, which I hope to achieve by September.
