Hello all,
I am in this for the long haul! I'm graduating in two years and the plan is to get married in three. I want to be able to enjoy dress shopping in the future without worrying about my weight. I want to start my career out of college without having my weight be an obstical. I have been at this for a week so far, I have 51 more weeks to go to hopefully reach my goal... (but it's okay if it takes a little longer)
I'm looking for friends who will encourage me and I will be more than willing to do the same!!

Weight loss will generally slow the less you have to lose, so don't get discouraged if you don't quite make it in that. Your attitude about it seems to be very good, you will make great progress! I have only 10 pounds to lose, and it is a 3 lbs down 2lbs up snail journey. It's easy to get burned out when progress is slow, but as long as it's in the right direction, it's golden!

Hey there... I am getting married next May and have over 100 to lose. I began in Jan and have almost 30 lbs off so far with diet and exercise. I can not wait to start dress shopping but I want to actually be excited to do it and not self conscious. Would love to motivate and support each other o our journeys!

I regrouped last week as well and am giving this thing a no excuses approach! I have been on MFP in the past...and actually lost 180 pounds back a few years ago (who am I kidding...it was nearly 10 years ago!) but gained 80 of it back....it's time to get rid of it for good this time and actually hit my original goal! which leaves me with a 125lb weight loss goal.... overall.

I wouldn't mind some friends to motivate and be motivated by along the way! Add me
