Looking to firm and tone up ..

Hi all! I have been working towards losing weight since Dec 2015. At Christmas I saw some pictures my mom took and decided I had to make a change. From January 2016-May 2016 all I did was cut out soft drinks and dropped 20 pounds. I am a teacher so at the end of May 2016 when my summer off began I decided I could not use the "I am too busy" excuse and joined planet fitness. The first day it took me 30 minutes to do a mile and I hated every minute. Fast forward 10 months and I hate to miss a day of exercising - I am done 95 lbs or so. I seem to lose and gain the same 8 or so pounds every week since mid January. I can't seem to drop anymore and I honestly want to tone and firm more than continuing to drop. I sign up for every 5K I can get too, I have added yoga and some weights Mostly hand held weights at home with a few exercises I found on pinterest. I am thinking the walking/running are just helping me maintain/lose weight and I should be doing something with weights from here on out. Would weights be my best bet or is there a class of some kind I could try. The weight machines at the gym intimidate me ~

Weights is going to preserve your lean body mass (which is what makes you look toned at your goal weight) If you've not much weight to lose, you may want to lift and cut VERY slowly or even consider a slow bulk.1
