Any boxers out there?

Always happy to have friends on here for support--would love some adds from fellow boxers.

Started taking boxercise classes back in September and ended up become obsessed. Joined my university's boxing club and am trying out proper sparring for the first time on Wednesday. I love the calorie burn from it (down 40 lbs in 8 months!) but am loving how empowering it is and how great it feels to hit stuff even more.

Feel free to give me an add if you box, casually or seriously. Would also be interested in hearing from anyone that trains hard for a sport while trying to lose major fat at the same time

    I'm a purple belt in tae kwon do and spar competitively when ever I have the chance. Not boxing, but still a combat sport. I started TKD after I started losing weight, but while doing it I've lost an additional 80lbs or. Between the TKD and the weight lifting my fitness has improved drastically. *drastically*.

    Combat sports are a lot of fun.

    I'm trying to train for some mountain bike races later this year. The hard part is some will be endurance and others will be short and all about the fastest time.

    I want to be. I hope to join kick boxing in the summer when kids rushing off to school isn't getting in the way

    I loveeeee boxing. Love the calorie burn too! Broke my leg in November and so boxing is how I get the majority of my cardio in as it's not very high impact :)

    I don't spar but I do use boxing as my cardio for about 45-60 minutes for my routine. Double-end bag and heavy bag.
