Food scale weighing

I just recently got a food scale . Is it better to weigh food after its cooked or before ? (Raw). What's do you guy think is better ?

Raw, and not frozen cause the water will lie to you1

Depends on how you cook your food. You can take a thick juicy steak and cook the hell out of it until it is a tiny shriveled puck that weighs half the amount and all you've cooked out is water not the calories.
If you don't want to weigh the raw product just be sure to pick an entry for cooked and the way it was cooked if possible.0 -
Raw is going to be more accurate. Just be sure to account for any calories added in cooking (oil, butter, cream, etc.)0
