Tell me if you think I'm crazy...

Does anyone else do this when trying to keep cool during a workout? For some reason, ~99% of my sweat comes from my head and neck, so I'll wipe it off my forehead before it can start stinging my eyes. Then instead of just wiping my hand off on my shirt, I'll wipe the sweat on the exposed skin of my arms or legs, which would otherwise stay bone dry no matter how hard I work out. This may sound really gross, but if there's a fan or breeze I can actually feel this cooling off my arms or legs. I don't know why my body doesn't just sweat evenly to maximize surface area & evaporation, but at least I can mimic that effect.

Well, it it the evaporation that cools you down........I sweat profusely pretty much from head to toe when working out so I can't say I'd ever have occasion to try your method.
Doesn't sound gross to me, it's your own sweat.0 -
Yeah, personally I think it's actually less gross than having sweat literally dripping into my eyeballs and the neck of my shirt.0

LMAO. BTW, you have great definition in your shoulders and arms, some day down the road I hope mine are that cut.0

I sweat a lot on my face and neck too. I wear a cloth headband when I work out that will soak up the sweaty forehead, and sometimes use a towel across my neck, tucked into my shirt, so it doesn't drip down.
And no, it's not gross. It's your sweat. As long as you're not "giving" it to anyone else (lol) it's not a big deal.
