You have a community here to help with motivation. Start with basic things you can change that you will be able to do your entire life. I find that 30 minutes on my recumbent bike is something I can do before work every day. I eat protein bars instead of the crap options I used to go for like chips and chocolate. Drinking flavored water has gotten me to quit soda pop.

The first week or two is tough when you are in bad eating habits. If you can discipline yourself and gut it out, week three and four are much easier. Use protein bars - if you get hungry eat one. Many are under 200 calories with 20 grams of protein - much better than the crappy alternatives I was used to eating.

Hope that helps - best of luck!

Welcome! Yes, it is going to be (a bit) tough... but it is also going to be REWARDING each week when you look at the scale, or in the mirror, and see the evolution of a NEW YOU!

Stick with the food logging, eat smart, use the extra calories earned because of exercise, keep well hydrated, come here when you need a boost... and soon enough you'll be one of the people helping newbies realize they WILL succeed.

Not for good luck... but WISHES FOR SUCCESS!
