Hi I am new to couting calories and I started intermittent fasting 3 days ago. I wanted to know if I wanted to eat 3.5 ounces of chicken breast would I weigh it raw or cooked. I know when I cook the chicken it will lose water making it weigh less but do I leave it like that or add more chicken? Please help

Before is usually better, but whichever way you choose make sure you select the right entry to log it

I've used both methods but generally use the cooked value, as it seems easier to find in the database. Just specify when you make your entries - raw or cooked.

Weigh it raw, log as raw weight.

Weigh it cooked, log as cooked weight.
