Hello,
I'm trying to loose weight and started excersicing. I've been doing cardio 3 times a week for 30 minutes and want to increase it and start lifting, but every time I hit the gym a couple of hours after I get very very sleepy. I have been doing this for about a month now.
Last week I started counting calories, and I have to resize my portions to be at deficit. I am grabing a snack or meal after excersice.
Any thougts? Is this just an adjustment period?
Thanks!

It's fairly natural to feel sleepy after exercise, as it's a big burn of energy and then can put you into a "relaxation" mode.
What time of day are you going? If you are going in the evenings, it isn't a bad thing.0 -
It's normal I'm the same way!!0

Thanks for the information. I've been going in the early evening, so I battle with myself to go to bed at a reasonable time. I'll push it later to get ready for bed with the sleepiness them.0
