I just started my postpartum diet. I am 6 months postpartum. All this while I was eating anything but suddenly since 2 days I stopped my carbs and only living on lean protein and fats. I am a vegetarian by the way. I feel hungry many times through out the day and not feeling super energetic. I am scared what if I fell sick due to all the changes my body going through? Am I doing it right or should I take it slow?

My food routine if you're wondering.
Breakfast: cereal, over night oats
Lunch: salad with all veggies and half avocado and eggs. I mix n match veggies and fruits. Salad dressing is hummus or basic Italian vinaigrette.
Dinner: lentil soup, bean soup, avocado toast. Etc

If you're nursing, I'd definitely consult with a doctor about your dietary needs and trying to lose weight.

In general though, I can tell you that if your only concern is losing weight, you don't have to make drastic changes to the types of food you eat or make any huge changes like eliminating carbs. You can take baby steps, you can start slowly, and even once you get going you can still eat the same foods you were eating before just in smaller portions. The only thing you *have* to do in order to lose weight is to find out how many calories your body burns per day and then eat less than that number.

Did you put your stats into myfitnesspal? What number of calories did it say you should eat? How many calories are you actually eating? If you are hungry and low energy all the time, you may be eating too few calories, or you may just need a different balance of macros (like not completely eliminating carbs.) Without specifics, it's hard to know for sure.
