5'10 with maybe 10 more lbs to lose, but honestly, pretty happy being the tall, athleticly built girl.

I'm 5'10", halfway to my goal but on a hiatus dues to ill health.

My goal is to be the tall, slim, healthy girl after years of faddy eating and dieting. I'm all about losing weight slowly to keep it off so I don't cut my calories drastically as I know that doesn't work in the long run.

You can do this! I'm 5'9". When I was 23, I weighed in at 235 pounds. I decided I had to change my life. I lost 100 pounds and felt/looked fabulous. Unfortunately, over the course of 15 years, getting married, and having a desk job, I gained a lot of the weight back. At 39, I was teetering around 200 pounds again. I did not want to be 'fat and forty', so I lost 66 pounds and have been maintaining at 136 pounds for a year and a half now.

MFP really works! I look better at (almost) 42 than I did at 30! And yes... it's fun to be the tall, thin girl. When you go shopping, everything fits and as a tall girl, I still get to eat 2200-2400 calories a day.

I'm 5'9 and looking to get healthy/fit. I'm doing strength training, Insanity and a little bit of cardio. So I'm not sure how much weight I'm aiming to lose. But I would like to drop 2-3 pant sizes and get rid of this belly. Everyone please feel free to add me!!! :)

5'8 checking in! Funny how I used to think I was the "big girl" in high school just cause I was taller than my friends. Now here I am 10 years later, and I look at those photos thinking "Damn, that's my GOAL!" Started with MFP 105 days ago at 214lb... Now I'm 32lbs down. Getting closer to that healthy BMI and stronger every day :-)
