Hi all! I have a very big birthday coming up and its time to make a change... I have always been overweight, but somewhat active. My eating habits are horrible. I'll eat great for about 2 days then find myself craving burgers, burritos, chips, bagels, you name it. As with my eating my workouts have been less than successful. I have all the tools I need.. a treadmill, bowflex machine and videos. I'll use all or one at a time, see no results then they sit there for weeks not being used. I am my own worst enemy!!

But its time to make a change. 30 is going to be my year! I have to take every meal, workout, day and week at a time. I look forward to chatting with people in the same boat. Getting advise whether its food, workouts or just life.

    Been there! I just started my new program three weeks ago. The first week is tough but get through it because it will get easier. Don't talk yourself out of working out, that was my big problem. Good luck on your journey! Keep positive people around you. You can add me if you would like.
  • Go girl! It's your turn to do this for yourself. 30 will look great on you and 3132,33,etc will look greater! I just started this today too. Actually I started this afternoon after I had already eaten my daily portion of calories. So now I look toward tomorrow to begin cutting my calories in half- that's about how much more I ate today than I was suppose to eat. So glad to see you on board. I wish my best for you.

    Thanks ladies!!!! I've been trying to make sure I keep track of everything, but its hard. Like today I needed chocolate (one of my many weakness') so I went to Starbucks. Got a Mocha Frap. and was in heaven, until I found out that it cost me 290 calories! Yicks! Oh well, I'm not going to beat myself up, just make sure I get on to the treadmill tonight.
