Healthy, yummy breakfasts

The hubby and I will be home from work next week. I could use some healthy breakfast ideas - but they need to be yummy in order to fool my husband into eating a healthy breakfast.

Does he want to eat breakfast? Don't force him to unless he wants to...
If I'm eating breakfast (which isn't normal) I'd probably go with eggs (with loads of vegies) or pancakes0 -
On weekends when we're home I usually make omelettes with potatoes or fry up some eggs with some bacon and potatoes2

He does eat breakfast. But he usually just eats cereal. I'm trying to get him out of the cereal groove (at least a couple of times a week!)0 -
I usually fix a scramble with some combination of lean meat, egg whites, potatoes, mushrooms, and salsa. You could also make a grits casserole with grits, eggs, cheese, turkey sausage, and cheese. Oatmeal with PB2 and sugar free syrup (I also add protein powder). Protein pancakes with sugar free syrup. You could even make breakfast sandwiches.1

My boyfriend is the same way. I take a high fiber piece of bread and toast it, then top with peanut butter honey and cinnamon and he goes crazy. That plus some veggie eggs and he's set for hours1

Personally I like oatmeal with fruit but I'm pretty easy to please. Do you think he would like a savory oatmeal, with eggs and bacon and hot sauce?0 -
My favorite is a smoothie. Frozen banana, 6 ounces of frozen blueberries, a cup of yogurt, scoop of protein powder, and 8 ounces of water blended in the vita-mix is an excellent breakfast that lasts me until lunchtime. It's a fairly large serving and amounts to about 400 calories. Good for sharing for those who want to eat less.0

If he's usually a cereal eater, you could try making oatmeal with milk and a mashed banana mixed in. The banana adds nutrients, and you don't need any other sweetener! You can always add some berries, nuts, or peanut butter on top!0
