I hear a little bit of country, but not a ton. Actually reminds me of a guy I know who lives in Kentucky

    Tennessee

I was thinking somewhere South, but you aren't too twangy so I couldn't put my finger on it.

I might have tried to hold back the twang :grimace:

Haha nope. I'm a little far from it

I recorded (and deleted because I hated them) like 7-8 audio messages and when I finally did one I didn't hate, it was in the wrong format. You guys rock, though. It's awesome hearing everyone.

I won't take that as your final answer. Try harder. :p

You sound like you should do one of those soothing radio shows that air at like, 2:00 p.m. on weekdays

    (that is a compliment, btw)

There should be a place on our profiles where we could upload a greeting. That would be fun.

OMG I'm gonna record one for the About Me section. Yay!

Aw, that's no fair. We can't hear it unless we're on your friends list.

I never said we couldn't be friends! I only decline the people who blindly send requests, no former interaction, and/or no note with request.
I assert this comment counts as former interaction

I assert this comment means you would like to be friends.
    Your assertion has been validated.

I really wish that my son could record here.
His voice is so amazing that he has considered a career in voice overs and announcing or radio.

As a Canadian I have zero idea what you're talking about lol

I think that's the dudes voice that would play a message of all the movies and times they were showing. This would be before smartphones and high speed internet.

I've been accused of being the Moviephone person. I don't hear a resemblance at all of me. I mean me.

It's so cool to hear voices. I wish someone would invent a device that allowed us to freely talk and hear voices instead of having to text, communicate in writing on forums, upload voice files to a host site, etc.

What's funny to me about this is so many people hate talking on the phone these days and would rather text.
    I'm the same.
BUT for some reason this thread has made me giddy.
    Go figure.

What app are people using to upload the file?

I used a free voice recorder app, saved the file to my cloud drive, and uploaded it on the web browser on my phone to the vocaroo site.
    Is that what you're asking?

Kinda but I don't use the cloud. Don't trust it. What is the name of the app you used?

I got the AVR app, you can share it with your google drive or drop box or whatever

This is brilliant!! I used my laptop last night and I had so much static! I shall try this!

Let me know if you have any luck. I'm fumbling around with the google drive thing. I feel like an idiot. They don't teach these things at Ryerson.

Same here. I've spent way too much time trying. I'm done. I'll try later when I can use my son's laptop and after wine, 'cause that's always fun. B)

Tried with my phone. I think I got it.
