The ones where people are reading words remind me of those ASMR videos on YouTube where they will sit there are just read off the names of some of their subscribers, so that those people can hear their own voice being said...I don't know why it's such a trigger, but I still think that is neat. Haha. Although, there is already 11 pages on this thread, I imagine it would take awhile to recite everyone's screen names! 0

I think you have a very nice voice. I've read somewhere that everyone is weirded out by their own voices bc we hear them in deeper tones to ourselves through the sound traveling from the inside out and through bone and tissue rather than just in the air. If that is making any sense.3 -

That makes perfect sense...my voice does sound a lot different to my own ear than on a recording, so that filtering through our own tissues would have to make quite the impact on sound quality!0 -
