Made this thread separate from the one it was inspired by as I wasn't sure if it stayed on the original topic.

    you gave me a toughie, so I'm not taking it easy, but here's one of my favorite scenes:

    You have a natural flair for inflection. The reading was evenly paced, authentically accented and there's an audible element of optimism in your interpretation which garnishes the somewhat serious theme in a balanced and mood lifting fashion. Liked it very much.

    Thank you! Like most people, I hate my voice... But I like reading, and don't mind reading passages out loud.

    @newmeadow That was a more eloquent critique than I ever received. To tell the truth, the first time through I realized I was having trouble with "birds". Natural dialect for that particular word is Philadelphian (PA); to wit: "boidz". One of those idiosyncrasies, I guess.

    The scene takes place in a lawyer's office. But if pre-scene character preparation calls for it, then...

    I can't speak for everyone but I've been nude plenty of times in my lawyer's office.
