Scared about work trip!

Hi,
I have a work retreat in a few weeks where it will involve them providing clothes (that most likely won't fit!) and physical activity. It's also going to be in a hot country where summery clothes will be required.
I'm still so overweight, unfit and incredibly self conscious. I really don't want to go but it's compulsory. It sounds like I'm going to be absolutely humiliated
Has anyone else been in this position or similar? How did you find it?

we tend to judge ourselves more harshly than others around us will, so just remember everyone else is doing the same. most likely all your coworkers have the same fears you do. just put a smile on your face and have fun, thats all anyone will care about

Can't believe stuff like that still exist in the corporate world. There is a reason those stupid rope courses don't exist anymore.

hmm I would be checking my contract for the words 'must go on all trips offered'
