Is it possible to gain muscle, and lose 10lb?

Almost at goal weight, but looking to tone up
(after 2 kids) and gain some muscle! Would love some advice, so please share any helpful tips!

    Eat at maintenance or slightly below, get 1gr of protein per lb of lean mass, lift heavy stuff, profit.

    While you may be able to gain some muscle in a deficit, it's not as lightly and/or will have limitations. If you need to lose 10 lbs, you can probably have a small deficit, follow a good progressive overload lifting program and eat adequate protein to help maintain or gain some muscle while cutting down on fat.

    But it comes down to priorities and which priority is your # 1. If you don't mind the time, you can recomp like @Hornsby said.

    You can takes a lot of work on your part your diet has to be right n you have to workout at least 3 to 5xs a week look up a book called By Tom Plates Big beyond belief do that for a year .
