Maybe? Maybe not? Interval training is for health but not to burn fat. Fat loss is done with a deficit. I've tried burn fat with exercise but it's easier controlling your intake.0

Didn't read the article, but interval training on my bicycle does seem to help me with my speed. I do it indoors on my trainer. When I cycle outside, all I've got are hill repeats.1

I agree! I started interval training last month in desperation because of rain every other weekend. I was shocked the first time I rode after 4 hard training sessions how easy it was to do my scheduled distance and climbing increases. I agree it doesn't burn that many calories, though, and don't log the sessions or eat back whatever the estimated calories would be.0 -
This may not be fun for you to read, but since you asked for feedback.....
It is not a good article. There are a number of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. The writing is not very clear--it is basically a random word salad in which terms are used inconsistently or incorrectly.
Examples: you describe 60 seconds "fast" and 30 seconds "slow or jog"--there is no explanation of what "fast" means. In the same paragraph, you mention "yo (sic) can increase the sprint to 90 seconds" --no you can't; you cannot "sprint" for 90 seconds.
Later, you describe an "elevated heart rate" as the "fat loss zone". If you mean the "fat burning zone", that is usually considered to be a relatively low heart heart rate. In any case, there is no such thing as either a "fat burning zone" or a "fat loss zone". They don't exist.
Lastly, the whole concept of "interval training" as described is incomplete. You focus on only one type of interval training--high intensity interval training--and ignore the other different types. That's fine if you only want to write about one type of training, but you should be clear about that--using the general term "interval training" for HIIT is inaccurate and misleading.
My advice for future articles is that you only write about topics that you know really well, that you have a simple theme and organization, that you outline your article with one or two key points and a strong narrative structure, that you imagine how the article will read to someone who knows nothing about the subject -- will they understand it? And finally, get someone to proofread it before you publish.
The best way to improve your writing is to keep writing. I'm sorry I had negative things to say, but I have written dozens of articles and have edited a number of writings by others and these are common mistakes.
Good luck.8
