I did a cheat meal today and totally splurged on guacamole. I feel soooo full.....since avocado are fats, will this be bad??? I love avocados soooo much!

Fat in food isn't what makes you fat. Too many calories does. I doubt you ate enough guac to make much difference though. Drink some extra water if you ate it will salty items (like chips) to flush out some of the extra water weight.

Fat isn't bad. Avocado is a higher calorie fruit, but just log what you ate and you'll know how much over your calorie goal you are.

That's the important thing in weight loss -- the calories.

Maybe, maybe not. If you're trying to lose weight and you ate enough guacamole to cancel out your deficit for a few days, you have a minor setback. You just need to get back to a normal routine and keep your splurges within your goals in the future.

It has nothing to do with the particular food. It has everything to do with whether the calories are consistent with your particular goal. The macros for one meal are not as important, so long as you're meeting your needs consistently over time.

Avocados are great for you nutritionally.... if you love them (I do too!), keep them in your diet.

Not bad, but like others said depending on your goals you could have eaten enough to be over your calories. Avocados are delicious and nutritious, but quite high cal. (Kind of like nuts.)

I like an avocado sandwich, or adding it to a salad. I'd use 1/2 one in my meal. Super healthy.

My personal problem with guacamole is it's hard for me to contain my portion size. I'll just keep shoveling it in.

We all need good fats, so important for metabolism and general health, dont give up beautiful, whole foods. :)

This is true.... I also tend to get too much of the "guacamole delivery method" (chips, etc) so try to dip with baby carrots when I can. Love guac!

I like to mash half an avocado and spread it on toasted Dave's Killer Bread thin sliced for breakfast.

I have minimal self control with avocado myself! It's a great fruit though, just log it and move on.
