In regards to what sense? Endurance, hypertrophy, increased calorie burn?

No I don't do them as they aren't appropriate for my goals.

Drops sets and super sets seem to be the latest fashion in my gym, especially amongst the youngsters - often they aren't appropriate for them too IMHO!

I often use them as a finisher. Either stripping plates or running the rack at the end of a session on a final isolation exercise.

I don't know if they really enhance hypertrophy but they're fun, painful and leave you pumped on the way out....

    This!

Especially when you discover you can no longer move the empty 25 lb bar.

    Have a spotter... or 2.

It's a good way to add some extra volume after a difficult work set, this is useful when you are needing to push past a plateau.
