I got my goal about a year ago, but promptly quit doing the things that were working for me and put a bunch of weight back on. I'm looking to lose about 20 pounds (I'm currently 211),and just generally get back into shape. Looking for friends to work together with and support one another. 43yo guy.

Thanks. I can tell it's time when I lose my breath putting my socks on.

In a similar space myself right now. What worked for you in the past and how will you get started doing those things again? Personally I'm doing power yoga five days a week and staying with in my fitness pal calorie goals, like for real like by writing everything down

Last time I was doing a really good job of logging what I ate. If I went out to eat I'd only eat half of my food and make another meal out of the leftovers. I was also running and working out a lot more. I kind of got off track when I started a major home improvement project. I spent all my spare time working on that and had a hard time eating wisely. I know I can do it though, so I just have to put my nose to the grindstone.

How is power yoga different from mere mortal yoga?
