Measurements

I am just wondering if someone could help me with where exactly to measure, so that I am consistently measuring in the same way and the same place. The three things I measure are neck, waist and hips. Thank you.

http://www.wikihow.com/Take-Body-Measurements is really intended for sewing, but has pictures and explanations. I'd just measure my neck above the bone that projects from the back of the upper back/neck (where the back meets the neck, basically.1

I gave up on measurements for a while. I found I couldn't do it consistently. I then bought a body tape measure off Amazon, which has a button with a spring inside to pull the tape back with constant pressure and I find it works much better.
Of course now I measure in too many places. Neck, bicep, forearm, wrist, chest, gut, hips, upper and lower leg.
I'm trying to use the online body fat calculators and they all want different measuring points. I just average them (including my scale BF%) and will be following the trend weekly.1
