Only been using this app for a week or so and im shocked to notice the large amount of Sodium I'm eating when i actually thought i wasnt eating that much.

    I don't have high blood pressure so I don't take any notice of it.

    Pretty much. And considering I am active, I try to eat more to ensure electrolyte balance. I also aim for foods high in potassium and magnesium.

    i don't have health reasons to avoid sodium, but i've got a tendency to bloat and if i eat too much sodium my i can see the water retention when my ankle swells up like a balloon. vanity aside though, it's not my top concern for tracking.

    You can probably mitigate a lot of that if pot/mag are adequate. Its when sodium is heavily favored or huge swings from day to day that cause bloat.
