When is the best time to workout? I work 12 hour shifts some days and sometimes its hard to get a workout in but I know I need to. Is it better to workout in the morning or evening?

If it helps, you can break it up into smaller chunks of time. I do about 20-25 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes at lunchtime, and try for 30-40 minutes after work.1

The time when you can be most consistent.
I work out after work because I am not a morning person. I tried morning workouts for awhile, it just didn't stick. You want working out (or just being active) to be a lifestyle change, it will make maintenance much easier.1 -
The best time is whenever you can fit it in. I tend to do early morning just because it works for the family. I used to hate mornings but now I get up at 5.30am three times a week.0
