How did you feel about the Flex? What are your goals? If it was still under warranty, I would suggest contacting Fitbit. I don't believe they're making the Flex anymore, but I believe they would offer a discount for a Flex2

I believe the Apple Watch would be more if you wanted a smart watch.

I really, really hated my Fitbit Flex. I felt like it was super picky about syncing and just generally had a lot of persnicketiness to it. I upgraded to the Charge HR (original) and never looked back. Fitbit support is really great, though, so I would recommend talking to them!

I'm getting an Alta HR. My One just died. I love it, but keep killing them by wearing them clipped on my bra then forgetting and sending them through the laundry (this was my 3rd - 2 purchased & I replaced by Fitbit), so I think I need one to wear on my wrist instead.

I second the recommendation to contact Fitbit. They have been excellent about replacements and discounts, even when I was past the warranty period and the problem was my fault. The offered a replacement this time or a discount (30 %) on any Fitbit model currently for sale.

My Fitbit One no longer syncs, I'm looking at either the Charge 2 or the Alta HR - I really think I'd like the HR function.
Ps I'm hoping I get offered the 30% discount @firead that you got - I have been in touch with customer services too and my One is long out of warranty.

My second Charge HR fell apart in under 6 mo. I did extensive research on all the fitbit bands and my goals and settled on the Charge 2, which should be arriving soon. I couldn't decide between the Charge 2 and the Blaze but I liked the price of the Charge 2 and with the discount I got from Fitbit customer support, it was very reasonable. I just recommend going on Fitbit's site and do side by side comparison if that's the brand you're leaning towards. Other brands I cannot speak for since I was sticking with the Fitbit line.

If it were me, I'd get a Samsung Gear S3 watch...I'd be more interested in all of the other things that the smart watch could do beside counting my steps. I'd want something more personally than a glorified pedometer.
