Expired protein powder

I was going through my moms cupboard and found a mostly full canister of hemp protein powder (straight hemp, no fillers or other ingredients). It expired 10 years ago. Unless someone can provide sourced info on it being safe to consume (Id think not..), I'd like to use it for something else. Is it good for plants? Or make shampoo? Or something??

I don't know if it's safe or unsafe to consume, but I can almost guarantee it will taste like trash.

I tried a tiny bit and it didn't taste bad, but I'm still wary. Maybe make a hair mask from it?

10 years!? I am all for using the old stuff but I don't think this relates to food. Throw that thing out. I have a feeling its a sentient protein powder at this point, he might understand you are throwing him out, so do it quick before he gets back at you.

You are a champ for trying its taste though. You could serve it to unsuspecting guests saying: "This is vintage 1995 Château de Hempiègne."
Can't promise about how its going to come out though.
