Hi all! So as my title said, I have severely flat feet and a lot of ankle and foot pain. I'm on the heavier side, ( 5'6" and 241lbs) and it hurts to walk or do a lot of impact exercises since my pregnancy a year ago.(Which sucks because I love dancing.) Any exercise or stretching suggestions would be helpful.

Cycling or a stationary bike could work. Swimming. Strength training.
Have you tried wearing orthotic insoles? If you can't afford ones from a podiatrist, you could try Superfeet or Powerstep from a running shoe store. If they help, it would expand your exercises choices.
For the ankle pain, avoid walking in shoes with a raised heel, which most shoes have. Try skateboard shoes.

You've had the pain for a year, which includes when walking? What has your doctor advised? Have you seen a podiatrist?0

are you interested in losing weight, because that would solve much of your issues.0
