Frozen yoghurt vs. Low Fat Icecream?

Hi everyone! Living in a hot country, cold snacks are my favorite. Even though I eat mostly frozen fruits, i reward myself around once in a week and had a question regarding which is best:
Pinkberry's non-fat froyo - 1 serving
0g fat ; 17g sugar
Low fat Icecream - also 1 serving
6g fat, 3g saturated ; 3g sugar
Which one should I give preference to eating?

Given those stats, I'd go with the low fat Ice-cream.0

It doesnt matter as long as you fit it into your calories.1

What's your goal? It it's weight loss, pick the one that has fewest calories. If calories are the same, pick the one you like the most.2

What everyone else is posting here is correct, but I want to add: Fat isn't bad for you. At all. If you're avoiding it because of the calories, great. But if you're avoiding it because it's unhealthy, you're mistaken.0

When I go out for ice cream, I just get what I want...which is never frozen yogurt or a low fat variety of ice cream. There's nothing wrong with dietary fat...it is essential to proper nutrition.0

Are the calories the same? I'd go with the one lower in sugar and higher in fat because it would keep me full longer.0

What do you find most satisfying, how much do you want to eat?
I usually go for taste with ice cream and eschew the low cal stuff, because I find a little bit of the most delicious more satisfying than more of a low cal but less good version.
That said, there are pretty low cal fro yo or sorbets that I enjoy, and I've played around with making lower cal versions at home to see what I like most. I'd try both of the ones you are talking about and see what you prefer.
Could have to do with overall diet, too -- does the sugar mean you are less satisfied, even if you just had dinner? Are you already high in added sugar? Or, on the contrary, are you concerned about sat fat (although the ice cream isn't that high)? Does one or the other feel more satisfying for the same calories?0
