How to create a custom smoothie in my food diary?

Hello! I just started MFP yesterday and would like to add my morning smoothie to the food diary and am not sure how to do that? It is a combination of several things (almond milk, vibrant greens, flax seed, fruit, etc). Do I need to list out everything individually? Or can I create the smoothie and save it somewhere so I can pull it into my food diary on the days I drink it? Any advice on this would be appreciated.

You can do it a couple of different ways...

On your diary, if you click/tap on quick tools, you should get the "Remember Meal" option which allows you to save a meal with name like "Green Smoothie".

Or, you can go to the recipe function and add all the ingredients to a recipe, then you would just add the recipe to your meal.

I'm a relative newbie too, but if you want to add me as a friend I'm happy to help!

You have to just create a recipe. It'll ask you to name it then you just need to put in everything you use and measurements.

You can use the recipe builder if the ingredient amounts stay the same most of the time.

If it's for something that's a single serving and I change the ingredient amounts fairly often, I often save the individual ingredients as a "Meal". Then I can quickly add all of the ingredients at once and just adjust the individual portions to what I actually used.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I will go give it a try and see if I can figure it out - LOL! I do the smoothie 4 days a week when I work out hard, so it is important to me to have it in there.
