Negative step adjustment stopped

I've recently changed my calorie in take from 1300 to 1200. I've noticed I stopped getting negative calories adjustment with my steps in for the day. I thought it was a tech error bit then remembered mfp spent recommend eating less than 1200 a day. Is that the reason it stopped doing the negative adjustment.

Yes. You cannot have a goal less than 1200 calories, so it will not give a negative adjustment.
