    if you're angry with someone you live with, and you have the communicative and emotional skills to say something like "i'm angry and this is why and i'd like to deal with it tomorrow in a proper conversation" without getting into fisticuffs, do that.

    if you're angry with someone you live with, and you don't have those skills, or if there's no person around you who's triggering you, get it out of your system, run or something, or write it down, and then go to another room so you're not lying there stewing in bed etc, try to distract yourself with tv or something like that.
    and then do some reading on how to express anger in an assertive way.

    I ALWAYS sleep on it. More often than not, I realise in the morning how irrational it would have been if i had acted on that anger.
    I have saved my *kitten* more times than I can count by letting myself cool off first.
