NSV... food

NSV, but maybe more of an epiphany... So, I ate at a buffet tonight for the first time in over 2 months. I used to go in, no salad, 3 plates of food, including yeast rolls, and a plate (yes PLATE) of dessert. Tonight I had a salad, one plate of food w/ a lot of veggies, no bread, a few pieces of fruit, and ONE SMALL brownie. It was still 1,000 calories and I was STUFFED. I have indigestion and my stomach hurts. How is this a victory you ask? Before... I just wouldn't have cared. I would have taken a tums and lay on the couch the rest of the night. Now I know that buffets are just not for me. So I went to the gym and did chin ups (ok, assisted chin ups, but still...), bench press, butterflies, and back extensions (heavy). I also DID NOT take a tums b/c I did it to myself. I learned something and I worked through it. Feels like a victory to me!
