Where are the best places to buy healthy foods for clean-eating that aren't too expensive?

I buy all of my ingredients at Dillons and Aldi. Sometimes Super Target if I'm grabbing something on the way home from work.

I generally shop at the supermarket, a small independent fresh fruit/vegie shop, butcher, and farmers market if I can. I also go to places with bulk bins for pantry staple stuff as these tend to be cheaper.

Fresh Thyme, Aldi, farmer markets, local cooperatives. I would strongly suggest to take a day to shop at 2-3 stores based on sales, especially if you're meal planning. Many vendors at farmer markets are willing to negotiate prices - chances are even better if you go the last hour and a half.
