So I really want to loose weight. I went from 155, only 10 pounds from my goal to completely dropping it and now I'm at 174 pounds which is the heaviest I have ever been. I AM working out and cutting down calories but I would just like some friends on here to help keep me motivated. Does anyone else feel similar or have had similar happen to them?

I'll send you a friend request. I always stayed between 160-170 lbs without doing anything special. Even after having 2 kids, it was easy to get back down to that. I obviously wanted to lose more and I worked hard and got to 153 lbs.
Shortly after that I was put on a medication that made me gain weight. Within a year I was up to 195 lbs! Crazy. I ended up having another baby and now I'm back to trying to get rid of this extra weight. It's upsetting because I was "fat" at 160 lbs but now I'd love to see that number.

    I'm 5'4 and currently 178 lbs (lost 17lbs).

I hear ya. I'm 5'7" and my highest weight is 165. My ultimate goal weight is 130, but I usually just bounce between the 140s and 150s year after year. It's easy to get complacent and the "good enough" mentality.

I just keep reminding myself: slow and steady and consistent. I don't need to starve myself to lose, I just need to eat at a deficit of a couple hundred calories each day. And logging consistently is KEY. That's all there is to it.

Yep. I've had this app since I was only slightly above a healthy weight. I've re downloaded and felt sick at how much the graph increased by putting in my new weight. (around 2 stone in just over a year)

It's hard but we are all in this together! All I keep telling myself is I'm not doing this to lose weight, I'm doing it to change my lifestyle and be more healthy, and that happens pretty much as soon as you start no matter what the scales weigh.
