Anyone do Pilates (Reformer, not mat)?

Question says it all. Do you like it? Does it work for you?

I do it 2x per week. It's done a lot for my upper back. I've done a lot of mat as well, reformer has significant advantages.

But what really makes my current reformer sessions is the teacher. She's very strict as to form. I've spent a lot of time doing Pilates. You need an instructor who demands proper form in detail. Without correct form the moves are just choreography. True for mat or reformer.

Looking at your question again, it works for me, but my goals may not be yours.

I have a bad shoulder that I need to keep after by working the muscles around it.

Now I'm aiming at my hips.
