On the argos website the fitbit wrist strap is on the heart rate monitor page. Does it measure calories burned all day and you'd just log it as one thing, or can you stop and start the calories burned to coincide with exercise?

Not sure what fitbit you have, but I have the zip and it only counts steps. It will count them all day. However, you can search for exercises just like MFP and it will add those on to your daily calorie burn.0

I don't have a flex, I have the one and have linked my FitBit account to MFP and let it do it's thing regarding the adjustment of calorie allowance based on data from my FitBit.0

I've had the Fitbit One since January and I love it. Clip it to my bra and off I go. Everything is then synced to MFP.0

I think the best way to use any of the Fitbits is to just wear it all day and allow it to be the source of calories burned. If you are doing an exercise that does not count calories well with the Fitbit device you have (swimming, circuits, cycling etc.) then enter this as an activity in the fitbit website or app. Entering this exercise in Fitbit overrides your calories burnt for that period of time - so you don't have to worry about when you can wear the Fitbit and when you can't.
If you enter the exercise in myfitnesspal directly, I think it might double count with the steps you have done in Fitbit. Therefore, if you have a Fitbit, I suggest entering all exercise you do in its website, not here.0 -

I have the One but apart from mine telling me how many stairs I've climbed I think they work on the same system. I wear it all day everyday & as it's linked to MFP it will automatically send my extra calories burned from walking over to MFP account so you just let it do it's thing. The only time you need to log anything is when you do, say, cycling then you just log that activity into the MFP exercise bit making sure you put in the time you started the cycling or weights etc & for how long you did it for, it will then link with fitbit so fitbit knows what you were doing at the time. If you want to have stairs counted as well as steps & sleep then go for the one.

PS Just log all your stuff in MFP not in the fitbit site so you don't get conflicts between the two.0 -
Ah yes I see now. Logging exercise in MFP will then log it in Fitbit as well, thus there will be no double counting.0
