Hi!

I'm new. I really need help with motivation. I'm naturally a little chubby but had an eating disorder throughout the early-mid teenage years. I'm a healthy weight now, but am looking to lose maybe 15 pounds and just generally tone up a bit. I think probably because my past, I'm really not able to find the motivation to lose weight properly. I'm not moving into relapsing or anything at all, rather the opposite  I find it really hard to control my cravings for absolute junk. Which is why I joined here, to hold myself accountable.

Does anyone have any tips to reduce cravings? And does anyone want to be friends & support each other with our goals?

I'm new as well and I've always struggled with giving into my cravings. I crave sugar and other carbohdrates. I think the key is to eliminate any yeast from the body, that way the craving for sugar will go down (because yeast graves sugar)

I've found a large glass of lemon water followed by a cup of hot herbal tea with artificial sweetener usually gives me that feeling of fullness long enough for the craving to subside. The sweetness of the tea takes care of the sweet tooth. Then I get busy with an activity or play with my dog and I am fine.
