This past week I've been snacking a little extra and eating higher calorie foods and I'm afraid that I may relapse.. I've been doing so well with eating right, but I've just being aggressively craving all the junk food and fried this and fried that. UGH! I chew gum and drink water to stop the cravings but it only lasts like 30 mins and I end up eating more popcorn (even though I'm eating the 35 calories per cup popcorn). Still... I have a son and he has A LOT of snacks and I really just want to rip them open and eat it all. Help?!

I did the same thing yesterday and felt too embarrassed to put the proper calorie count down... It's okay once in a while!

Basically, your body is telling you that you're lacking the right nutrients - so you crave the bad stuff. But bad stuff lacks proper nutrients to begin with, and becomes a sort-of vicious cycle.

I'd use this site: https://natureworksbest.com/naturopathy-works/food-cravings/ to diagnose what you really need. Believe me, it's incredibly tough when you have that insatiable craving, but you'll eventually train your body and brain to know what you need.

I hope this helps! Good luck. :)
