Any success losing the apron tummy/ hanging tummy?

So of course being overweight comes with wonderful things such as the hanging tummy (apron tummy). My biggest fear is that I will lose weight and that skin will never come back up and firm. It makes it difficult to exercise as well with it bouncing. My question is, for those who have lost lots of weight, did yours go away? Please feel free to share pictures if you are comfortable. TIA!
