I am on my path to put on some weight
But have something to discuss
Do hormones matters in gaining weight?
Apart from good diet hormones also makes a important role in gaining weight
Testosterone in male and estrogens and progesterone in female
If any one have faced any such things please discuss on this

CICO matters in gaining WEIGHT. But hormones will have an impact as to how much of that gained weight is muscle vs fat.0

Hormones have an impact on many variables, but unless your goals require artificial help or you are doing something physically very extreme, you shouldn't need to ever think about them to reach your body composition goals.0

Some hormones also affect the CO side of the equation directly. Outside of a conscious effort to restrict, they will also affect the CI side by driving hunger signals, but each person can forcibly affect change there, so it's less of a factor.0
