Loosing weight while on steroids

Living with SLE (lupus) for 17 years has caused my fluctuations with weight gain and loss. It's definitely a challenge I have struggled with and can't seem to get it down to a science. Anyone out there have similar struggles and what have you done?

When I was on steroids many years ago, I gained some weight but I wasn't counting calories back then. My disease made me very fatigued and I was always eating because of the lack of energy. Too many calories and not enough movement.

Put in your information into MFP and stick to the goal it gives you. You can do this!

I too have lupus... And take steroids. It is not easy to lose weight, but everyone tells me it's possible. I have done well the last few weeks by sticking to my calorie limit and upping my water intake

None of my tExt is being posted... I'll trying again later. Seems MFP is glitching. I'd hate to type another paragraph (I'm on my phone) only to lose it...I'm in the same boat with you all and would like to connect.

I have a friend on pretty heavy steroid for a rare vasculitis who's lost almost 60 lbs over about a year. She tracks with mfp and keeps to a pretty low calorie budget and works to get 10k steps a day. Pretty inspirational.
